Just installed Kodi 17 from AppStore in a new international version of xiaomi mibox 3 and I am not able to select interface language other than english.
English is the only language available when I try to change it.
A lot of friends with the same hardware have no problem to select any european language.

I installed by OTA latest mibox3 firmware.

Someone has a clue how to solve?

Addons > look and feel > languages

Check the language pack you want is installed and enabled.

THe language issue was due to some incompatibility between the Xiaomi box 3 DHCP client and the ISP router DHCP server. The DCHP client doesn't get the gateway IP, so poor and delated internet connection and difficulties to connect to any repository.

What is the reason for it not be installed automatically. This is the first time I see that only English is available during installation.

no it's not.

download your language from a mirror and install it manually using install addon from zip

no it's not.
Was the same in v16

On my Mi Box 3 it was installed perfectly (Kodi 16 then, upgraded to 17), with no problem with additional languages.
On my friends Mi Box 3, trying yesterday, only English is available.
What can be the difference?
