v16 Can't access Kodi over WiFi (SSH or SMB)
#1
Hello,

I recently bought a RPi3 and built an OpenElec Media Center, but the problem I'm having is I can't connect to its ssh or smb from my Android phone.

I soon as I type ssh password, it just hands there and does nothing. Same with smb keeps connecting, but nothing happens.

Setup:
OpenElec v7.0.1 running from SDCard. Multiboot using Berryboot (1. OpenElec & Raspbian OS)
RPi3 is connected with WiFi to my home router.

I can access ssh & smb from my desktop PC (Ethernet). I can ping RPi3 from android phone.

Please help me out.

You should log into router and make sure you don't have "Access Point Isolation" enabled.

That restricts what connections wireless clients can make to other devices on network.

I have Clients Isolation disabled already. If I open a ftp server on my phone, I can access it from kodi. I can even ping each others.
