Hello world !
Sometimes when I start Kodi, it's crash. In the beginning I supposed that's was a video accelerator problem (vaapi with a intel HD2000 desktop pc and a intel GMA 4500HDnotebook, all on mint 18.1). I tried to fix the problem by disabling hardware acceleration in kodi. But today my desktop with an AMD graphics card crashed too (mint 18.1 too) and my others pc crashed again. When I start kodi via command line, it's run goodand return nothing.

Is the problem the same on my intel desktop computer ?
I launched kodi 2 times this morning. The first one was good, and the second returns me a message in command line :
Segmentation fault (core dumped)
find: «/home/test/.cache/dconf»: Permission denied

doesn't looks like the same issue, but you didn't enable Debug Log

Please note here, the hardware acceleration (VAAPI) is enabled

that crash is somehow related to pvr.
You could try to disable/uninstall the hts addon and upgrade to v17.1rc1 from the unstable ppa

Thanks for your answer. Do you want me to test if the rc1 works fine for me ? I can wait the stable 17.1 to work with it, the crash doesn't stop my usage of kodi.
