i will give it a try, but how i told in thread opener i mean files outside of the database. so the source is "nothing".
so don't worry.

Still, test 10.4.5 with the exact same folder as before. The one you were testing when it was working.

you're completly right. i see now where the problem is: if the source is "nothing" the files aren't scanned as SD or HD and so there are no current playstate.
i checked it before with a folder which was in a movie source and the files just where unknown (so no scraped info). they are scanned as SD and HD file.
so my bad.

Great.

I found out that Kodi often sets the content for items outside the database anyway.

Right now I added fileinfo and watched state for folder items marked as tv shows (I had some too, which was how I found out).
Kodi might set the content of your first folder in the above video as tv shows. If you have file info (SD/HD) and watched state in this folder from the next update, we have proved our point. Wink

That will be included in the next development update.
