Mythtv can be configured so that it marks commercials in real-time while a show is recording.
If a mythtv recording has completed, kodi will automatically skip commercials using the marking.
If a mythtv recording is ongoing, and it's being watched say, 20 minutes into the recording, kodi will not skip commercials. On the other hand, the official mythtv frontend will skip commercials that have been marked while watching an ongoing recording.
Any way this capability could be added to Kodi?
