Finally narrowed this down, ongoing issue with slowdown, then complete freezing/crashing I've had with LibreELEC v7 and v8.

Completely re-scraped my library as I thought that 10 year old nfos were causing issues, turns out it wasn't this.

Fresh install of V8.0.0 on 3x different machines (2x Atom330 and 1x I5 4460), with the same sources and settings, all of which end up slowing down, then freezing completely when running either Trakt or Artwork Downloader. (more frequently with Trakt) - No response to SSH login etc

If I don't run either addon, everything seems stable, multiple hours of viewing and navigating the GUI.

Just re-created by running Trakt again but with extendedinfoscript disabled (after seeing an error with that in the previous log), same thing, hung again.

Not sure if this is caused by Trakt timing out, or Kodi causing Trakt to timeout when synchronizing? (has happened once or twice with Artwork Downloader but tens of times with Trakt).

Reproduced on completely different hardware.

Machine is still alive but very slow to respond (SSH below when trying to reboot)

Last week or so, any addon linked to a Trakt TV account takes 30-60 seconds to show any menu item which would cause a connection to TraktTv like MyCollection or MyProgress etc.

Other menu items like "Search" are fast on an NVIDIA Shield & Raspberry Pi/LibreElec and when a search is located launching that link seems fine probably less than 5 seconds.

This would tend to tell me that the issue is with TraktTv and not necessarily KODI but I suppose the method to which KODI attempts to handle the TraktTV connection and results, could be an issue.

A few times KODI locked up whilst attempting a TrakTV related function and required a hard reboot.

Of course the random refusal to shut down still exists.
