Hi,

I had the iPhone app working so that when I tried to connect to kodi it would wake up my sleeping computer, without having to use the wake on lan function. This was good because it allowed me to wake my computer even when I wasn't on my home network. I had some issues with something else, so I reinstalled windows and Kodi, but now i'm not able to find the configuration that allowed me to do this in the past. The wake on lan button on the app does work when i'm connected to my home network, but when i'm not i'm not able to wake kodi using my IP address. I am able to connect to kodi when the computer is awake and i'm not connected to my home network.

Any idea how i had this configured in the past?

I managed to figure this out. In the device manager under my network settings I have Wake on Magic Packet disabled, and Wake on Pattern enabled under the advance tab. Under the Power Management I unchecked only allow a magic packet to wake the computer.

I don't know which of these settings really fixed it, but now that it's working I won't mess with it.
