v17 Bluray Iso Playback
#1
I hae some BLuray Isos on my NAS and want to play them with Kodi. When I select the ISO in Kodi nothing happens. Is this anyhow possible to let the playback start?

.iso formats according to this Features and supported formats (wiki) wiki are playable as long as the compression techniques are compatible. VideoPlayer (wiki) Blu-Ray .iso must be handled properly. http://www.makeuseof.com/tag/rip-dvds-bl...-platform/

Kodi can play bluray iso files as standard.

At settings/player/discs/bluray you can specify what should happen when playing a disc. I advice "show simplified menu". Please set also the region.

Kodi only plays unprotected discs, so you have to have them ripped with anydvd or dvdfab (might be illegal, depending on where you live).

If it still doesn't work, post a FULL debug log (with debug turned on: settings/system/logging/...).
Add-on : Bluray iso utils Rewrite of BR_iso_enhancements
Add-on : BR_iso_Enhancements Give theatrical & directors cut from the same bluray iso each their own library entry, use bluray iso's of tv shows as if they are already ripped.
