Hello guys
i am using IPTV Simple client with a m3u playlist that regenerates every few hours from an addon for my local tv provider. When the m3u regenerates however the links for the channels change and the PVR manager needs to be reloaded in order for the PVR client to acknowledge the new links.
I had this addon working on Kodi 16 perfectly. The PVR manager reloaded, tv stopped for a second but when i start it again it was working OK.
Now with Kodi 17 it seems that the PVR is not reloading the new playlist at all. This requires a restart of kodi (or manually disabling/enabling the PVR)
Nothing comes up in the logs so i assume there is some kind of bug in the XBMC.StartPVRManager command on Kodi 17. The command does get executed at the end of playlist regeneration but the manager does not reload the PVR client.
Please if anyone has some info or a resolution of this problem - share it
