Hi everyone, Kodi 17.1 is constantly crashing on Linux MInt 18.1 cinnamon when I try to watch youtube videos from the native youtube add-on. Ive seen a POST about updating python-openssl and crypto and Im pretty sure I have successfully done that? (I'm no pro with linux lol) Does anyone have any ideas to as whats going on? Thanks a bunch in advance!!

It seems you have installed Banned add-ons (wiki), so you won't get any support here unless you want to remove them.

It crashes in
#0 0x00007fc0118ec0d0 in ?? () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/radeonsi_dri.so
#1 0x00007fbff37f4f78 in vdp_imp_device_create_x11 () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/vdpau/libvdpau_radeonsi.so.1

as for the driver, it seems like this new linux mint doesnt have much support for my AMD 7870 gpu. Would you guys have any ideas what i could do to remedy the issue? i think if i go to an older version of mint it'll have better support for this gpu. thanks again guys
