v17 Xbox 360 Wireless controller not working at all in Kodi 17.1 on Xubuntu 16.04
#1
Tested on two different computers.

The controller connects to my computer just fine and it works with other software. On Kodi, nothing happens. Pushing buttons on the controller does nothing. Going into the new button mapping screen and trying to map buttons doesn't work.

Logs: http://paste.ubuntu.com/24278952/

Steps to reproduce:
Do a clean install of Xubuntu 16.04
Install Kodi from team-xbmc ppa
Try to use Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

Thank you! It works now. In case anyone else comes across this, the package is called kodi-peripheral-joystick. So:

Code:
sudo apt-get install kodi-peripheral-joystick

Might I suggest adding this to the Configure Controllers page on the Wiki?

I've seen a bunch of posts telling people to do this, but when I do it, it says package not found. Is there a ppa I need to add? Wiki is down...
