Win addon problems

I have loaded kodi for windows 10 on to my pc but when I put add-ons it comes up with a message saying it can not load because I am not connected to the web
have I missed some thing out at set up,
Thank you up front for any help

you seem to be missing a debug log (wiki) please provide one via a pastebin.com link or the kodi.wiki/view/Log_file/Easy
