I have a Gigabyte GB-BACE-3000 but I find in kodi it cannot quite keep up with 1080p tv and the sound gets out of sync, it happens with recordings and live tv.
Here are the specs.

I am using Ubuntu.

Any ideas of what to try tweaking?

I bought this small pc because it was supposed to be able to do 1080p.

From the info you provided it's impossible to guess even which Kodi version on which OS _version_ you run.
