Mavericks and 17.1 crashing
#1
Kodi was quitting unexpectedly when I'd try to use the escape key to step back from prefs or whatever.
I quit Kodi, unplugged the external screen from my MBA and relaunched Kodi.
That made it somewhat more stable.
Only seems stable without ext screen.

But still crashing.

crash log

OSX Console file

OSX Diagnostic report (?)

Update: if I use the Internal Speakers of the MBA for output, instead of my external audio I/O, Kodi seems stable (so far).
But I can't get audio to Apple TV 2, only picture.

You need to set a channel map via osx audio-midi-setup to the device you wanna use. Atm all channels are unknown.

it is mapped to ApTV2. Still no sound. Works fine direct from anything else to ApTV. Weird.

Thats the audio device you have setup and all its channels are unknown. You need to map the channels of this audio device in osx audio-midi-setup

thanks, actually turned out to be audio settings.

settings/system/audio/audio output device

settings/service/airplay

now I have a different issue, but I'll put in new thread.
