I would like to know if it is possible for the ending of a show or movie to go back to episodes or movies in stead of seeing the server menu selection again?

Are you talking about watching via an addon?
If so that's nothing to do with kodi - it's something to ask the addon author.
If it is an addon it's almost certainly banned here.
If you watch something in kodi's library you're returned to the episode / movie list when it ends, which is what you seem to want.
