Android Kodi 17.1 Kodi has stopped working

Looking for any help or suggestions to help me with getting kicked out of kodi while using. Will suddenly stop and then message " Kodi has stopped working" with only option to click ok. Using X96 and TX8 Android 6.0 box. Any help would be greatly appriciated! Thx
