multiple source locations and database
#1
i have a HTPC/NAS running kodi and a mysql database all is working fine but i don't want the htpc/nas to be running 24/7
i am starting to set up a PI to get the new tv shows and host the sql database.
am i somehow able to have the PI run the sql database and host some content (newer stuff) so i can watch on the other kodi devices but copy it to the HTPC/NAS when it is on and delete it from the PI after a month without causing duplicates or missing sources in the kodi directory?

Probably not.

I do not understand the point of a server if it isn't on 24/7.
