1000 fps and video issue
#1
Hi,

I am running Kodi 17.1 with libreelec on a Rasperry Pi3 and I have the following issue.

I like to have my blurays on the harddrive for my media center. I use to convert the audio streams to AC3, since my av receiver is not DTS capable. I leave the video streams untouched.
I usually do this with avconf. Now, if I watch this file on the raspberry, I noticed that every 10 to 20 seconds, one or two frames appear to be skipped in playback. I checked the framerate and kodi claims the video has 1000 fps. I thought this might be the issue.

Now, I dont know if the issue is with kodi, or with avconf. I checked the file using mediainfo and it correctly shows 23.976 fps. But, if I just put the completely untouched file, directly from the bluray into kodi, it also reports 23.976 fps and no frame skipping is noticable.

Any ideas or tips?
Thx!

No Debug Log no issue - this is a support forum.
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.
