Hello, just installed ubuntu 7.10.

The problem is when using apt-get. I get to 93%. FOllowed the wiki.

It displays the following:

I got the cd inserted, press enter. Then the same text appears again. Then I just goes on and on and on and on with this, still stuck on 93%. No matter how many times i press enter. Also tried with 2different cds.


Any suggestions?

Go into the repository sources and tell it to NOT use the CD as a resource. It will stop asking for the CD and get it off the 'net. You may have to cancel and re-get the code but it will get you out of this loop.

ty BLKMGK. successfully installed ubuntu and compiled with script. Followed the wiki and it works like a charm. Even a noobie like me could install it.
