Hi all, completely new to all of this.

I'm getting a Philips PUS6401 google android smart tv and was wondering if I could install kodi on this.

I could also get a cheap Venz V10 mediabox from somewhere, but I won't do that if my tv can run the app anyway, hence the question.

If the TV uses android as its OS, then it's either possible to install it via the google app store or sideload it with the apk from our download section.

If it doesn't use android, then you are out of luck.

He was being slightly sarcastic - you said that you had a "Philips PUS6401 google android smart tv", which does kind of imply that it's a smart TV, made by Philips, that runs Google Android.
