Add-ons for libraries: Even a thing?
#1
Many college libraries offer streaming video platforms. Some major vendors are
  • Kanopy
  • Films On Demand
  • Swank
  • Digitalia
Typically access from outside the campus network (off-campus access) is password protected, mediated through a proxy server. Logged-in users can then browse the film collections and watch films in web players.

Here's my dumb, innocent question: Have people developed add-ons to play such collections in Kodi? Or is that not even possible?

Thanks!

I had a browse through the official Kodi library, but could not find a match for those names. Here is the link to search the official add-ons. Maybe there are other names you can search...

I am sure you have tried a google search with "kodi" appended in the search.

There might be add-ons located in supported 3rd party repositories. Hopefully somebody could notify you.
