Kodi just crashes when i try to start it. Ive never gotten it to start, and plex is garbage because it wont detect any of my media, even if i follow their format.

Anyway. Here is my crash log. Please help me... My patience is very thin.

I've tried deleting the db, reinstalling, rebooting after deleting the db.. I've looked at forums, and i can't seem to get this working..

Here are my pc specs

Mobo: Maximus Formula V
Cpu: Intel Core I7 3770k 3.5ghz
Gpu: R9 390 8gb
Ram: 16GB
Storage: 2 500gb hdd, 1 2TB Hdd

Pls halp.. Plex is garbage. It won't read data off of my other internal drives.

it crashes in amdgpu (gpu driver). Try with the radeon driver instead

No Debug Log no issue
First decide what functions / features you expect from a system. Then decide for the hardware. Don't waste your money on crap.

Code:
#0  0x00007f96781f78f4 in amdgpu_query_gpu_info () from /opt/amdgpu-pro/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libdrm_amdgpu.so.1
#1  0x00007f967ac6be0e in ?? () from /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/dri/amdgpu_dri.so

He definitely has hosed graphics drivers. The stack trace is accessing a mix of amdgpu-pro and the mesa version of amdgpu from the paths listed there.

Purge all pieces of amdgpu-pro. Install updated mesa from here: https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-x-swat/+ar...lter=zesty
