Hi,
I updated XBMC to latest rev (11817). Most of the content works great as usual but noticed that a specific video plays for a few seconds and then freezes. kill -9 is the only way to get out of this.
This is the only WMV9 content I have so I can't say if this happens with all WMV9 media. Its not a big deal for me as me prev build (11602) works great. Anyone else seen this issue with WMV9 (or any other content for that matter)?

Yes, recent builds crash or freeze on WMV. WMV playback has always been flaky on XBMC/linux with slowdowns, but it's only recently actually introduced instability.

Thanks! Good to know. Found another video (Xvid) that has issues with playback in rev 11817. But in this one the video is completely messed up (horiz and vertical lines through the screen) and audio is ok. Again the same video plays perfectly in 11602.
