Sami (.smi) subtitle not supported yet?

Question
I cannot see .smi subtitle in xbmc for windows.
When I play the movie with .smi subtitle, subtitle.smi file is copied to C:\Users\Myaccount\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\cache directory.
But subtitle is not displayed in the movie.
.smi subtitle not supported yet?

Thanks for replying.
I know that .smi subtitle is supported in xbmc for xbox.
I'm using xbmc for xbox for years, and I am enjoying movie with .smi subtitle with xbox.

In Xbmc for windows, I can see .srt subtitle.
But I cannot see .smi subtitle.
I tested various version of xbmc for windows... t3ch build, testbuild rev. 12185, 12306, 12332. All was not successful.
I don't know what I'm missing.

Thanks for all of xbmc developers.

Yes but like I posted in the topic-thread that I linked to:
Gamester17 Wrote:MPlayer has not yet been ported to the XBMC Linux port (nor to XBMC for Mac OS X, nor to XBMC for Windows)
...and you see it is MPlayer that supports SMI subtitles on XBMC for Xbox (not the DVDPlayer), and since XBMC for Windows do not feature MPlayer but only features the DVDPlayer it does not have support for SMI subtitles. Thus you are not doing anything wrong, you simply have to wait until somone either ports MPlayer to work under XBMC for Windows or more likely; someone adds SMI subtitle support to the DVDPlayer. OK. I understand. As a end user, I didn't know such technical issues.
Thanks again.

To smi subtitle users.
SMI to SRT conversion is a good solution for seeing subtitle in xbmc for windows.

I tested some DivX movies with 'SMI' (SAMI) subtiltes but OSXBMC didin't load them.

spiff added support for these the other day, so I presume the next OSX release will have this support.
