When playing back a DVD rip with the xTV skin, when I pull up the menu and select Audio, the Audio Settings window pops up but it has nothing in it. Same for Video. What am I doing wrong?

you try playing with PMIII as the skin? Also try updating xTV skin to latest version. I know the developer updates it often.

The version that comes with XBMC for OS X works fine, yes.
