v19 LibreELEC Testbuilds for RaspberryPi (Kodi 19.0)
(2019-07-11, 19:53)MikeKL Wrote: From #0707 onwards having issue with an older catchup streaming addon that has been very reliable to date. (Waited a few days to see if playback issue resolved itself with a later nightly update)
Kodi debug logs..(note large logs)

#0710 Kodi debug log Streaming does not start.
#0706 Kodi debug log Streaming/playback normal and OK

As #0707 was a "minors" update, surprised impacted the catchup streaming addon. (Can provide smilar debug log for #0707 as required)

Thanks, I can reproduce. Although the issue starts with #0707, there's actually something missing from that changelog (my bad).

In #0705 I had to revert a change due to a conflict with Raspberry Pi newclock5 changes:

  1. Additional commits/pull requests/changes not yet merged upstream:
    • Reverted: [pkg] PR:16314: [VideoPlayer] Load program from stream property without using streaminfo

I stopped reverting this PR in #0707 but forgot to mention it in the #0707 changelog - sorry! I've updated the #0707 changelog to reflect this omission.

So it's PR16314 that is the problem in #0707 - I'll ping the author and make him aware of your post. This issue is reproducible on x86_64 since #0705 as I didn't need to revert the PR for x86_64.

No problem, happy to be of help occasionally finding an issue in nightly builds.

How you install the build on a RPi4 ?
@Rumpelstiltskin & @Chingy112 My current understanding is there are NO nightly LibreELEC builds specifically for testing on rpi4 yet, with milhouse explaining in this previous post to stick with official RPi4 build from here for now.
RPi4, (LibreELEC 11.0) hdmi0 -> Philips 55PUS7304 4K TV, hdmi1 -> Onkyo TX-SR608 AV Receiver
Right, this is my understanding, too.
@Rumpelstiltskin: Yes, there are no RPi4 nightly test builds of mine ready for discussion in this thread. I have published the #0703 build, purely to test the infrastructure for my own benefit, and if you want to use #0703 that's fine (it's based on 5.1.y and Kodi 19 but has a number of known issues relative to the 9.2 release, although SMB is not one of them!) and since it's not yet included in the changelog for the normal nightly builds it's not really meant for discussion/support etc. in this thread (yet).

That said, there are no known SMB issues - you seem to be experiencing typical SMB1 network browse issues which no longer work Microsoft disabled SMB1 (use "Add network location..." instead). Enabling SMB1 in the LibreELEC server is not necessarily the solution, it's more complicated than that as it depends which server is your Master Browser (unlikely to be LibreELEC). SMB issues have been discussed many times over the last months/years following SMB1 deprecation, please search the forum.

What I would suggest is that you test with the official RPi4 9.2 release, use "Add network location" (don't worry about being unable to browse - that's unfortunately normal, now), and I would highly recommend you do NOT enable SMB1, anywhere! Start a new thread to resolve any remaining SMB issue(s) if you still have problems.
Texture Cache Maintenance Utility: Preload your texture cache for optimal UI performance. Remotely manage media libraries. Purge unused artwork to free up space. Find missing media. Configurable QA check to highlight metadata issues. Aid in diagnosis of library and cache related problems.

Can you just tell me how to install this build (#703 or other) on a RPi4 ? Or in which thread I find it ? I would like to test it.
Thanks.

With respect, you should wait until Milhouse is ready to produce nightly RPi4 builds and get feedback, because if the 0703 build doesn't work, people will moan about it.

Use the build from the LibreElec web site. It works fine for most purposes.

It is here. It's a one-off build to test my release scripts etc. You're welcome to try it, but please don't post issues as the official 9.2/Kodi 18.3 release is the development focus for now. Once we are in a position to support RPi4 on Kodi 19 then you'll see the builds listed in this thread.

I'm not able to get the raspi working with a 1440p monitor (tried with pi3/4).
I've already posted my problem here.
Although being recognized (as it shows up in System-> Display -> Resolution) if I select 2560x1440 than the screen just goes blank.
The best I can get is 1080p.
Is there anything that can be done, I'd really like to use my new 1440p monitor!
