Hello all. I know, that asking for eta is not appreciate on any forums, but I really can't wait more with this question.... Sorry for this!
I see that Milhouse has made much work with RPi4 and Linux kernel 5.5 on GitHub, can someone tell me approximate time we need to wait for first test builds for RPi4 on 5.5 kernel?
And again, sorry for my eta question, but I can't sleep well :D

Sorry I should have said "from a LibreELEC 10/Kodi 19/kernel 5.x" perspective the RPi4 is not yet ready for prime time - of course it's working fine with LibreELEC 9.2, Kodi 18 and kernel 4.19.y (which is the current LTS kernel supported by the RPi Foundation). Kodi 18 is using mmal, but for Kodi 19 the RPi4 (and in fact all RPi boards) need to use a completely different video rendering approach (v4l2+gbm) as mmal support will be dropped in Kodi 19, and this all remains a work in progress (but progress is being made!) These RPi and RPi2 builds continue to use mmal as there isn't much work required to support these older boards in mainline kernels, but for RPi4 it's a different story.
