v19 LibreELEC Testbuilds for x86_64 (Kodi 19.0)
Kernel 5.3 rc7 built solves for me the audio sync problem in Gemini Lake ( J5005 )
Mentioning just in case it helps somehow Smile

(Audio was impossible to sync via advancesettings as offset was not stable, in example a good sync could require from -400ms to -50ms for refresh rate 24p)

Just noticed a problem with live tv (tv mosaic) and deinterlacing.
If i directly switch (no problem if "stop" button is pressed before) from a 720p channel to a 1080i channel (1280x1080), my picture is distorted.
This seems to be a vaapi related problem, cause if i switch to deinterlace method "deinterlace" (yadif), everythings fine.

Can you post a screenshot/photograph of the distorted picture?

Is this a new issue (can you identify the first build when it started, or has it always been there...)?

Also check before/after the ffmpeg-4.0.4 update added in #0809.

Many thanks for your fast feedback!
Hmm, i never noticed this behavior till today, maybe it was the first time switching between these two channels...been testing your builds back to december 2018 - always the same problem.
Here are some screenshots while switching between 720p (artifacts) and 1080i/1280x1080 ("coneheads") channel ->

It seems to be only the resolution 1280x1080 which causes this distorted picture.
I have two channels with this resolution and both of them are showing the same behavior while switching between progressive channels.

So the problem is there in a December 2018 build? I'm not sure what might be causing it... maybe @fritsch has some ideas?

Yes, yesterday i tested back to december builds with same behavoir (really dont know why i never noticed this before...).
Like some other users reported in Kodinerds forum, these '1280x1080-specific-german-channels' seem to be a frequent problem.
If i can do anything else for further investigations, just let me know!

When the distortion occurs, how long does it last - is it a few seconds, or until you stop playback?

Any idea what might cause random audio cuts /drop outs. Happening randomly once a minute and lasts around half a second. I remember having this issue some time a go, but don't remember what fixed it..

Nothing comes to mind, when did it start (again) as that might give a clue to what is causing it. Have you changed any settings recently (either in Kodi, or on your TV/AVR)?
