hi all,
while playing back media (audio/video/pictures) one comes into situations to fade in the overlays on the top or the bottom of the screen. it would be nice to fade these out again automatically after a certain period of time if no further user interaction has happened.
purpose: better screensaving / avoid burn in effect / comfortable while watching a movie / support general lazyness
personally i often tend to forget to disable the overlays again while listening to music in the vis.screensaver mode.
timing examples:
- for videos/pictures: top (5-10sec) | bottom (10-20sec)
- for music (vis screensaver): top (5-10sec) | bottom (20-30sec)
- maybe also for the player controls in the middle of the screen that one can call e.g. in the homescreen: 30-60 sec.
maybe it would be a nice feature to integrate some kind of a sticky button into overlays that would allow to fix or unfix the overlay.
what do you think of this?
best regards,
einhänder
