I like being able to use any version of XBMC and know the experience will be the same no matter what platform I am on. So to keep things easy for me (and 'specially the wife) I have modified Lircmap.xml to match what I am use to from the windows version.

You can download a copy here and place it in ~/.xbmc/userdata/.

Hope this helps someone else.
