You could try this (Post #118)

For Linux, the filename must be in all lowercase.

Thank you for a quick answer, but adding <glrectanglehack>1</glrectanglehack> to my andvancedsettings.xml didnt work in Vista. So any other suggestions? And what is the problem i have called? (kinda makes it easier to search for an answer)

Post your entire advancedsettings.xml file. Also, check the Debug Log to ensure it's actually being read (not sure if anything is logged or not though).
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

So far I've only seen this referred to as "ghosting".
