Hi
i am pretty new in using xbmc. Before i mostly used vdr.
So far xbmc looks really great.
I am from Germany, so keep in mind that my English might be not that easy to understand.

Now my problem:
- installed Hardy as minimun Install. Removed the big useless things like ooo and gimp.
- installed X and alsa
- used the scripts mentioned here to start xbmc

Everything seems to work great, but my sound is not played under X.
If i select an mp3 to in xbmc i cant here anything, but if i switch to tty1-6 the sound plays.

Any help appreciated

OK stupid problem solved.
Setting hdmi audio to analog instead of auto on my Panasonic Plasma, let the music play.
