.SRT Subtitle Problem
#1
I know the srt subtitle support is still not as good on linux as it was on the xbox but i would like to point out 2 little things that might not have been noticed before.

1. When during video play you select a .srt subtitle, (so i browse for it) this will result in a 2x playback speed. I always have to reset the play speed afterwards.

2. A bigger problem is, 3 line .srt subtitle files are not being dealth with correctly. Example .SRT file:

Code:
52
00:02:54,367 --> 00:02:56,834
Joy. What a happy name.

53
00:02:56,901 --> 00:03:00,334
Must be so great
to go through life
with a name like that.

54
00:03:00,400 --> 00:03:02,167
Yeah, it's been
quite a ride so far.

67
00:03:26,634 --> 00:03:28,634
So, how do you like
teaching over there?

68
00:03:28,701 --> 00:03:31,434
Oh, honestly, I'm just
trying to save up
enough money to retire

69
00:03:31,501 --> 00:03:33,100
while I still have a colon.

The single and double lined subtitles are displayed correctly, but when there are 3 lines the middle one is not being displayed so this is the result for those:

Code:
53
Must be so great
with a name like that.

68:
Oh, honestly, I'm just
enough money to retire

I'm running SVN 15523
Ubuntu 8.04

Let me know if this is something you would look into, and if a XBMC.log is needed.

Its definitely a bug. Would you mind to create a trac ticket for it and append the given .srt file?
