I have a Mac book and am doing some tests, my idea is to get a mac mini as a htpc,

I have tried streaming my videos from my of using smb share, but when trying to play under leopard the mac total locks out.

I also have vista installed and this streams video perfectly, but as I'm using vista I have no apple remote support,

I was wondering if it was possible to get the apple remote to work on xbmc with my mac running vista?

The apple remote at the moment only allows me to turn volume up and down.

I want to end up with a machine that I can stream 720p content to.
After using xbmc on xbox for years there really is no other media centre that comes close!
