I have idea to make fanless pc no HDD just fanless mobo with graphic card memory and cpu with pasive coller boot from flash usb with live xbmc stream mkv 1080p from file server (GLan) can some one recommendet hardware for that machine big problem i thing its temperature thnx for any help

Can we make a seperate forum for this stuff its getting ridiculous...

Get a big ass silent Zalman cooler (heatpipes system so no active cooling)
Get a motherboard without fans (p5e-vm for example).

Use an usb stick (8gb are like 25euro), instead of an hd in it..
Then only thing left is the CPU cooler..
get big ass cooler with a 120mm @ 800rpm you shouldn't be able to hear it and it should be able to keep it cool.

But of course it all depends on what you want to watch && which cpu you have
