No X in XBMC Live on older NVIDIA graphics controllers?
#1
X will not start on 2 different pc's using older nvidia cards (440's)
they usually need the legacy drivers. Is there a way to boot using vesa just to play around?

Any more info needed just ask and I will post whatever I can.

XBMC requires direct rendering so no. I'm guessing here (haven't had a chance to ask l.capriotti yet) that the nvidia-legacy driver wasn't included with this version of live. So what is really happening is, the x session is starting, XBMC is starting and crashing due to no direct rendering, xsession is ending, whole process starts over.
