How cool would it be if we could write python scripts that interacts with apps and OS X in the same way as Apple script.
So I have raised this idea in another thread to do with Genius playlist and thought I would start a new thread specifically about this feature to try and generate some interest.
I have tried to include the Appscript python module by appending it to sys.path but it seems that it needs the mac port of python and from what i can tell xbmc just uses plain old python.
I raised this idea over in plex and got a good first reaction but after emailing elan have had no more interest.
I even tried to make head and tail of the source to do it my self but no luck it was way beyond me.
