Hi there
I'm in progress of switching from my legacy XBox to Ubuntu. Installation was a breeze, with a major headache: The remote.
As far as I read here, the default XP remote is the way to go, but there are many posts regarding other remotes (I assume not least because the MS remote is hard to find).
With XBMC (hopefully) being on the verge of going mainstream, remote support will be one of the top questions when it comes to deciding whether to use XBMC or not. I've ordered an XP MCE now, so the question doesn't concern me any longer, but what I would have preferred was a listing of supported remotes for the different platforms, e.g.
Remote Type X:
Linux / Live: supported (config link [link])
Win: supported
I'm pretty sure that with the activity in the forum, this listing would grow very fast, being a major help to newbies
Just my 0.02$ - cheers, and keep up the great work!
