Update library manually
#1
Dear mediastream users,

I feel a little dumb about this, but I cannot seem to find HOw to refresh/update my movies library manually.
Currently I restart XBMC and use the setting 'update library on startup', but that's really very raw.
Point is that if I add a movie to the movie folder I currently have to restart XBMC to be able to see it.

Thanks for your help!

Go into the video library (either TV Shows or Movies links on Home), bring up the context menu (Title button on remote) and select Update Library

Hm,
I can only see a lot of filter and sorting options, the display modes (panelview etc..)
This comes up when I move 'right' in the library view.

When i hit 'T' nothing happens. So might it be this remote button is not correctly working?

Pressing right is bringing up the Options Menu, not the Context Menu. I assume you are using a keyboard so you need to press the menu key on the keyboard (usually on the right of the space bar, near the Ctrl key) - it looks like a menu with a pointer on top.

No, it is a remote, the first of these:

Tried it again. I am using Mediastream 0.95 on Windows, cannot call the context menu there.
