Hi, I just get a new LCD HDTV to see XMBC on its all magnificent.
Sandly when I boot i got no image on the tv, and this message was displayed.
"Incompatible video signal received"
XBMC is running on the background because I can here sound. Also I can use it fine on the windowed version. Just not full screen Sad

I am running Windows Vista Ultimate 64 bits
The TV is Sharp Aquos Lc-65d64u
My GPU is NVidia 9800 gx2

Please any pointer will be much appreciated. I have try changing the resolution in windowed version with no luck.
Anything else I can try? I am trying to run it at 1080p

Have alook here, it may require a firmware update. Some people are saying that it won't do 1920x1080 from a PC....

Anyway have a look.

did you double check the screen resolution settings under settings: Apperance-Screen and Videos-Player ?

THat'd be your forst port of call to check, and try to keep it as a res thats TV friendly.

Yes, that did the trick, was changing video resolution but not apearance resolution. It was set to some old resolution of some old tv that I had
I also did a firmware update and it does 1080p.
You awesone XBMC at this size!
Keep up the great work everyone!!!
