AppleTV and shared drives

Hello!

First of all, thanks for getting this to the AppleTV!! Until now I'm using Sapphire but I see the potential of XBMC and once I get it running I think I will switch.

Now my problem:
I have a Ver 2.1 AppleTV with Nito and Perian installed. Watching all kinds of videos under Nito or Sapphire is working. I have all my media stored on a DNS-323 connected via WLAN. No problems at all.

When I go under Video in the XBMC I find my share but then, instead of my ordner structure of TV shows, I only see two folders: Season 1 and Season 2

Anyone?

check for symlinks in your source folder and remove them.

Thank you!!!

I have found a similar post with my problem: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=38277

So, please don't hit me: What's a symlink, how do I recognize one and how do I delete it?

Apple TV with no AFP working. Here is a quick work around using XBMC & SMB

I'm using SMB to talk back to my nas and it works great. I made a .pdf file with PHOTOS to show how I set it up. I like XBMC better then Sapphire currently. It does great job all around and more. Hope this helps. http://public.me.com/jeparkinson

Download file.... ATV SMB XBMC 2.pdf

Thanks!

I worked out most of the issues I had...
One missing: If I stop a movie or tv show and want to resume it it starts from the beginning even if the setting is "ask" in the video settings dialogue...

Thanks for help
