To replicate...
Start XBMC
Select a TV Show
Choose TV Show Information
Choose Refresh
Choose All Episodes
(note that in my case & a few other users all the episodes are now gone!)

Now check the log file...

It's no problem at all.
Always read the XBMC online-manual, FAQ and search the forum before posting.
Do not e-mail XBMC-Team members directly asking for support. Read/follow the forum rules.
For troubleshooting and bug reporting please make sure you read this first.

OK so the error message is OK,
but what about the refresh that removes all your episodes....

note that the original scraped info was from nfo's.....
it appears that refresh doen't look for nfo's?

Thanks again
