Screen refresh rates (exact NTSC etc)
#1
Is it possible to have XBMC change the screen refresh rate when starting playback, like it does on the XBOX?

I have a 100Hz LCD TV, and the smooth motion technology only works if the screen frame rate matches the video frame rate at some exact multiple, e.g. PAL 25 on 50Hz or NTSC 23.976 on 59.94hz.

On the XBOX the PAL60 setting seems to work pretty well, although not quite perfectly as it is 1% off actual NTSC which results in one extra doubled frame every 2 seconds, meaning it's not an exact 3-2 pull-down.

I am mainly on Windows, but would switch to Linux if it can do it on that platform.
