Love the new app!

Couple of quick questions if someone has a minute,
using the media stream skin if that matters..

1) Simple way to launch a web browser from XBMC in full screen mode, that would return to XBMC full screen when closed?

2) Simple way to launch other programs from XBMC,
read just to use a simple python script, but not sure what that means?

3) Add the CNN rss feed?

SOLVED : you have to change the rssfeeds.xml under your userdata dir, not the general one in the xbmc programs files dir.
Example: C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Application Data\XBMC\UserData

4) Why does the xbmc (windowed) icon launch with a different skin than then xbmc full screen icon,
it also loses the video sources etc I defined in the full screen version?

1. Maybe possible with 2.
2. Look for the launcher plugin on the forums here.
3. userdata/RssFeeds.xml
4. It uses "platform mode" which means your userdata folder is in your appdata directory on windows, versus "non-platform mode" which means your userdata folder is in the application folder.

Thanks, solved all of them ,
well close... closing the launcher external apps does not always return to xbmc.
Be great to have a full screen browser tied to XBMC cleanly.


Somehow I've lost my mouse, checked prefs its on, but it is no longer seen?
