Started using XBMC today - can't get videos to play correctly
#1
This is the first time using XBMC and it looks to have a lot of potential. However, I can't get the video output to play at all. The output appears to be in the wrong resolution, with video playing somewhat cleanly in the top right corner of the display and then have a trippy version with the colors all wrong overlayed on the rest of the page. I am running XBMC with XP SP3 and the video card is an ATi All-in-Wonder Radeon Pro 9600 connected to a Sony KDS50XBR1 (LCOS Display) via component video out. I tried messing around with the resolution settings within XBMC with no luck.

Like I stated in the topic, this is my first time really using any version of XBMC, so please don't make any assumptions about something obvious that I should've done Smile

Thanks for the great work

Excellent, thanks. Updating the video drivers did the trick for me. I guess I hadn't updated them in a while.
