We changed the fullscreen code and I lock the foreground for other windows when going fullscreen. Latter one might be easy to test.

Hello WiSo,
Apologies for the delayed response. I have been really busy on a project.
Strangely, it flashes all the time at random intervals. By all the time I mean when the UI is up, when playing a film and what is strangest of all, even when XBMC has been minimized. I installed the newest unofficial build yesterday and wanted to rebuild my index... so I started XBMC, set up my content directories, started a scan and then minimized XBMC so that I could watch another film. Because I still can not get HD content working without jitters (I have seen a few suggestions on how to resolve this but have not tried them yet) I fired up MediaPortal selected the film and TheaterTek/CoreAVC started as usual.... While watching the film the Taskbar started flashing at irregular intervals.
So to summarize:
XBMC on UI - flashing at random intervals.
XBMC in Film - flashing at random intervals.
XBMC minimized in Film using TheaterTek - flashing at random intervals.
MediaPortal/TheaterTek in film - all ok.
MediaPortal on UI - all ok.
Another symptom..
- Taskbar set to always show
- XBMC running
- Start MediaPortal and the TaskBar does not go away
- Stop XBMC
- Stop MediaPortal
- Restart MediaPortal
- Taskbar can not be seen
I know that running XBMC or MediaPortal together is neither supported nor particularly desirable I simply mention it because what I have stumbled upon seems to show that for some reason you are forcing the taskbar to be displayed either intermittently or fully.
How can I help to test further?
I hope that this helps
Chris
