Any atv apple update wipes all non apple installs, so yes, you have to re-patch it (& update) and then all will be fine again. You can stay in 2.2.

Then don't forget to kill the automatic Apple update ... just in case ATV 2.3 gets released in the middle of the night and nukes you again .. grrrr.

As per many other posts ... SSH into the ATV after everything is working perfectly and do this:

sudo bash -c 'echo "127.0.0.1 mesu.apple.com" >> /etc/hosts'
sudo reboot

The previously mentioned "code" is confirmed by anyone else?
I would also like to prevent the ATV from auto-update in the future and if it's that easy, I will do it right away Smile
