I'm confused. This problem was fixed for me under MultiFinder/Launcher 2.2 but recently just started happening again, and I can't think of anything I'd changed in my AppleTV set up - ie. no significant upgrades.
I have a 2.1 AppleTV and I tried upgrading to Launcher 2.3 and setting my resolution to 720p, 1080i and 1080p but nothing seemed to make a difference.
So - I downgraded to Launcher 0.9 (which fixed the problem). Then re-upgraded back to 2.3 and the problem is still fixed!
