Hi,
Like many satisfied long term Xbmc on Xbox users I'm contemplating a move to a more modern platform but am put off the inconvenience and expense of a dedicated PC.
For the benefit of those of us considering the Apple TV, could you please guide us through the following FAQs.
1. What are the benefits of the Apple TV over the Xbox? Any cons?
2. Can you easily upgrade the Apple TV HDD to say 500 GB?
3. Does the file system support long filenames?
4. Can you plug a large USB drive directly into the Apple TV?
5. Does the Apple TV have the grunt to parse large music tag databases?
6. Where does the Apple TV fall short?
7. Is the Apple TV perfectly quiet?
8. Does the Apple TV start from a remote, and how quickly?
9. Does the XBMC port differ significantly between platforms?
10. How is archvillian Steve Jobs trying to stop us having fun with the ATV?
Thanks,
FB
