Trying to play video files from a remote server, however I am running into the following issues (latest official XBMC version 8.10):

SMB through Hamachi: When behind my local firewall, everything works fine with the hamachi ipaddress, however when trying to setup/connect remotely, I get the error that the computer name is invalid, and I am unable to connect. Now I can ping and go through windows file sharing so it is not a connection issue.

XBMSP: Unable to get working with a Dyndns address, as it does not seem to allow any dns address names.

BTW...Has there ever been any thought to including basic http streaming, such as through an Apache server?
